Final Project Part 3

Pokemon Cards:

My most successful project was my Photoshopped Pokemon Cards. This was actually one of my first projects but also one of my best. This was a original work of mine, my unique idea was to put myself in a scene of Spongebob, but I needed something else that could go with these, so I put them in Pokemon cards. My source of inspiration was my childhood obsessions of both Spongebob and Poke-Mon, in that I always wanted to be in a episode of Spongebob or a Pokemon card, Now I'm in both. I also developed my art making skills because this was my first project in Photoshop and it helped me learn the basics of it. This let me gain skill with Photoshop that I've used in my other projects.

Canvas Painting:

I would want to do-over this project for a few reasons. One is that I had trouble with the gradient on the sky, it took me four times to redo it and i still didn't do that good of a job with it. Another reason is that I didn't paint in the Moon and the stars very well and I would like to redo that. The last is that I had not made the foreground the why I wanted. I had first planned to have the trees a little farther away from the dog and to paint in moose in the trees. But I had ended up running out of time for me to do that. Because of these reasons and more, this is my choice if I were to red any of my projects.

Final Project Part 2

Animated Halo Emblem:

"How did you use your own unique ideas in your work?"
I put my own unique ideas by using my own Halo emblem to animate, and the background I used was part of
 a picture I had already made earlier in the year.

"Did you use a source for inspiration, then combine it with your own ideas to make it original?"
My source of inspiration was my Halo Emblem, I had always wanted to put it in one of my Art projects and I had finally thought of a idea that would let me use it when I made this.

Final Exam Part 1

Morgan Freeman Post-it Note:

Technology had played a big role in this piece of art. This project was to make a large post-it note painting  to hang in the hall. Without Photoshop, we wouldn't be able to make this because in order to make the painting, we had to first find a picture of Morgan Freeman and then pixelize it and add the color scheme of Post-it note colors so we could map out where to put the Post-it notes on the paper. So if we didn't have technology we wouldn't be able to make this art because it was so much based on technology.

Monkufflo:

Art helped play a big role in making this technological piece. This project was to splice two animals together by taking parts from one animal to another. I chose to do a Bison with a Proboscis Monkey's head. Without the photography art, I couldn't be able to find the pictures i needed to make this. So without Art, we couldn't be able to make this amazing technological picture.

Superhero Mashup

For this, mashed up Mickey Mouse and Deadpool to make an awesome new superhero.

Movie Parody

For this, I made a parody of Red vs Blue, by making the poster for Rage vs Meme.

Animation

For this, I had to animate a picture, so I animated my Halo Emblem

Literal Interperitations

For this one, we had to make the literal meaning of something. So i made a sponge cake, which is a cake made out of sponge

Body Scramble

For this assignment, we had to scramble body parts of something. I made a Cyborg War Breadfish Shark with cybernetic appendices.

Shadow

Here is a pic of a Cow with it's shadow showing his true self: a Steak. After adding the shadow of a steak, I had to lower the picture and and more grass by copying and pasting layers of grass and using Spot-healing tools to make it look like real grass.

Split

For my latest assignment, We had to split something and put in another thing.I took a banana peel and put a Surprised Spongebob pic in it.

Monsta

This post is about the toy monster I made for small children. After getting a drawing from a small 3rd year old, I re drew it and the made the box label for it. I then sculpted and painted it and put it in the box with my labels glued onto it. I then wrapped the box in plastic and was finished.

 

Morgan Freeman Sticky Note

In our last project, we made a Post-it note painting of Morgan Freeman by putting and taping down sticky notes to look like Morgan Freeman. Here is a pic of it:

Animation

My latest project is to make a cinema-graph. So Me, Jackson, and Jacob made this one of me dancing.

Photoshop Animal

For my next Photoshop, I put the head of a monkey on the body of a bison and then changed the hue to a dark blue and touched up on the edges and added a lens flare.

Personality Photoshop

My next project was to Photoshop a picture of me holding a frame and put something that describes my personality in it. Since I like computers I made a circuit board, I made the picture by combining two photos and changing their hue to a green. then I duplicated the photo and cut a hole in the copy where the frame is and copied and pasted my circuit board. I also added a Sanic in the background.

Illustration

My experience painting my canvas was god because it was my first canvas painting I have done and I like how it turned out:

Comic Art

In our comic art unit, we have dove a series of projects and assignments. The first one is the Pintrest assignment to gather pics of comic art, I used cartoons, comics, and some anime. Link: http://pinterest.com/josephdbarr01/comic/. Next I jade to answer the dig deeper questions:
1. Anime is TV while Manga is comics
2. Comics are usually strips on a page or two while graphic novels are entire novel-length books of Comics
3. Comic on asks are rectangular and dialogue ie put into speech bubbles.

Next I had made the cartoon bone sketch where I chose a cartoon charecter and draw their bones, I chose SpongeBob. Lastly there is my final project where I am making a comic about the game Destiny, my progress so far: 

Cartoon Photoshop

Our next assignment was to take pictures of ourselves and Photoshop them into cartoon scenes. I took pictures of me posing and Photoshopped them into Spongebob scenes, the I took those pics and put them into Pokemon cards.

Angry Pancakes

Our assignment was to take the jaws of a fish and then Photoshop them onto a stack of pancakes, this was the result.
